Eye-liner?

How do i apply eyeliner correctly? i wear black eye-liner. and i would like to apply it to the top lid and the bottom. thanksEye-liner?
There is no ';correctly'; besides what will look best on you. Beware, putting it on the bottom might not look great!





If you want to know how to keep it on for a long time, try a primer like Urban Decay primer potion or a sealant like Shelaq by Benefit. They cannot be used on the waterline though. Don't forget to use a thin brush, it's easier to control than pencils.Eye-liner?
I pull my eyelid down so i can see where i need to draw the line. Then I'll get my eyeliner and draw a line just right above my lashes and i don't do it too dark. What i do to draw the line is make a little line in the corner of my eye above the lash and just connect it with other little lines as i go across the eye. It helps keep it straight. When i apply it under the eye, i pretty much use the same technique but i start from the outside of the eye instead. I connect the line from the top lid to the bottom and make little lines until i get to my desired length of liner. I never bring the bottom liner in all the way to the inside corner of my eye. I usually stop about a centimeter away (where my bottom lashes are kind of fading i guess) Sorry. I don't know a better way to word that. Anyways, to blend i just use an eyeshadow brush and sweep it across a couple of times in a straight line. It really helps my eyes pop, lol!
when I want to apply eye liner to the top lid, I actually keep my eye open and just press very lightly with smooth strokes (because if i do it with the lid closed i find the line looking different once I open my eyes!). then i go back and darken it by pressing a bit harder. I usually make the line very light in the beginning of the top eye lid and progressively thicker as I move towards the end. hope that helps.On the bottom lid, I wouldn't advice applying it inside the lid (you could if you want, but it'll fade away quickly anyway).
I can use both, and usually use which ever I am in the mood for. For the top eyelid, I usually just put my finger by my eye %26amp; pull my eye lid, that way the skin is tight on my eye %26amp; I get a perfect line. Make sure u dont do it way thick, it may take some practice..
Dotting it on works well for beginners.





Go to a department store and have a professional show you. It's not realistic to explain this technique.

I say put it on the inside rim of the top and bottom. it doesnt hurt at all and looks really good.
