UNDER THE EYE: Pull the area right under your eye down a little bit. Right above the place where your bottom lashes start, that membrane, apply the eyeliner right there, in a few strokes.

EYELID: a little bit above the root of your top lashes make a dot, then follow that line very carefully to the outside. It takes a while to dry. After you're sure it's dry you can pick off the places you messed up. BOTTOM LID: Do not, ever, apply liquid eyeline to the membrne where you put pencil eyeliner! For under the lashes, you start from the inside corner of the eye, just a little bit to your right, that's where you start. But you may wonder why your putting it on what seems like the lashes, but when you are applying it it actually picks up the lashes. You have to do it as far up as you can without touching the membrane. When it's dry, pick off the part thats right at the corner of the eye.

Pencil is a LOT easier to apply, you just put it on your lash line. But liquid, you need to dry and it goes a bit above the lash line.





To apply pencil just keep going over your eye/lash line.


For Liquid, dot where you're going to apply and then trace it over.





Liquid is also a LOT more defined, and can look really nice if you get it right.


Pencil is just the same, but with a bit less definition and a LOT less hassle.





I would tell you to use pencil liner, but it just depends on you.

It depends on the person. Personally, I prefer penicl because it's easier to apply and take off. However, mii mom prefers liquid. The thing is, if u decide to go with liquid, I suggest using waterproof so it doesn't fade away. A good liquid eyeliner is Maybeline's waterproof liquid eyeliner.

Pencil looks softer and natural as you can smudge it, liquid can be cleaner and more dramatic.


I personally apply liquid eyeliner with my eyes open and just use one sweeping movement.
Liquid is better for the top, and pencil is better for the bottom

i would say pencil because its quicker to put on. w/ liquid u have to wait for it to dry and it smudges but thats just my opinion
pencil is a lot more stable,natural, and looks better!
i agree with the first answer. but for under the eye, pencil is like a must.
if u're asking me.. i must say pencil since it's more easier to apply and doesn't give u a horrible look when smudge
pencil is good for the bottom but if u want it dark put liquid eyeliner on top
