I think that eye liner looks best worn on the top lid, but i find it hard to apply my eye liner there, so i always wear it on my bottom lids.
I use an eye liner pencil, should i get liquid and try that?Eye Liner?
liquid is messy at first, but once you get the hang of it, its really easy to apply it to your top lids.Eye Liner?
i don't like liquid.
okayy. get the regualr pencil.
this might take a little practice, but it's worth it once you get the hang of it.
=]
okay. so make sure you sharpen the pencil like a lot so it's not too big of a line and then take your finger and like streach your eye out from the side and then just put a line. make sure that it's like at the bottom of your top eyelid because if it's not it will just look weird. haha
You could always try powder. It's easy to apply %26amp; isn't too much i find.
i think that a pencil is a lot easier than liquid
Try bobby brown eye liner gel, it lasts hours and is smudge proof.
liquid can be messy if you have never used it before so just practice with it at home until you get the hang of it
You can try liquid liner but honestly it might be even harder. It just takes a lot of practice. It took me sooo long to learn how to apply eye liner on my top lid, but now i can do liquid or pencil. If you use a pencil try sharpening, it will be easier. You should just practice when your bored at home. But honestly practice makes perfect.
liquid is hard to put on first but once you get the hang of it it looks great
i find liquid is much easier to use... though i also think eyeliner looks best on both lids, but i suppose that really depends on your eye shape.
ive never been able to do it with pencil because it smudges and looks a bit messy after a while
i use liquid liner on the top of my lids every day and i find it easier than pencil
have a close look at your eye, you can rest your elbow on a table and ur hand on your face to make it easier first, and it dries and lasts all day

i like liquid better it looks cleaner and more dramatic. but if u want the smokey eye look then use pencil
I use a glimmer stick from avon on both my top and bottom lids and find that if i dampen it slightly first (just lick it!) it goes on even easier!
Yea and jus put mascara on the top eyelashes to try and even it out..
Assuming from your avatar your white, id suggest that you wear brown eyeliner (unlesss you already do) because black looks very heavy and unnatural, the brown would make it look much more natural and subtle with your skin tone... jus a little xtra info there..
I had the same problem. I find that cream eyeliners, applied with a fine brush, are best for top lids, as the brush allows easy application as it just sweeps on. Smashbox cosmetics do a fabulous pallet of about 8 different colours.
However, pencils are still good, the easiest way is to soften it first by running the tip under hot water, or sitting it over a boiled kettle. This means you don't have to go over as many times to create a darker look, and smudges on easier.
As for liquid eyeliner, it's good if you have a steady hand and can apply it well. The best way is to sit a mirror on a table and apply the liner with your elbows rested on the table, which stops the shaking.
Hope that helps!

Use a soft pencil on the upper eyelid and smudge it with a damp cotton bud or your fingers for a smokey look or try a liquid liner for a mor dramatic look - like Amy Winehouse!
Just practice until you're pleased with the result!
Pencil is easier but liquid is much more dramatic so its worth spending a little extra time getting it right. Have some cotton buds to hand and you can easily fix any mistakes. Wear liquid on the top and pencil on the bottom.
I remember when I first wore liquid liner on my top lids I thought it didn't look right but it did, its just cos I wasn't used to it.
Finish with LOADS of black mascara if you really want to make an impression :)
liquid is a bit tricky at first but looks much better once you have the hang of it. I'd go for liquid everytime!
yes
at first its really hard to do.
it will kinda come out as a squiggly line, but just try to go really skinny on your inner corner and then get thicker as you go back
but if it is just too squiggly take a q-tip and dip it in makeup remover and smooth out the line.
good luck!!!
liquid liners are the usual for using on the eyelid but i find there is more precision with a pen rather than a brush or a pencil, avon glimmersticks are good ones, i currently use blackest black and it has the softest nib so doesn't hurt my eyes and it just glides on: http://avonshop.co.uk/avonshop/default.a鈥?/a>
I think dat pencil is way esier den liquid ive tried liquid and it never seems to work fro me so use pencil
