How do you prevent eye liner from smudging?

I was just wondering, since EVERYDAY my eye liner is smudged. And it makes me look like a racoon! So I was wondering if there are any tips / ways to prevent it from smudging?

clinique have the best eyeliner pencils though they are quite expensive at 拢12.50 (roughly $26) a pencil but they are worth it as they come with a sharpener on top


however if you prefer a cheaper option go for rimmel london about 拢4 ($8) a pencil.. just get a sharpener and all eyeliner will work like magic

seriously they are like a god send.. put on ur eyeliner blink really hard a few times then lick the end of the swab and wipe away the excess eyeliner





and no harm in carring a couple buds around with you in your bag every day for that midday check in the mirror!

You can put it over anything and it will stay smudge proof and water proof. It comes with many different brushes, for eyes lips and eyelashes and is great for trips.





Personally, I love Almay eye liner as well as MAX FACTOR. The colors are lovely and they stay put.
Look at Avon's eyeliners. They are not to expensive %26amp; are great. There are several good ones that shouldn't smudge. Look at Glimmersticks waterproof eyeliner %26amp; Feeling Fine Ultra Thin eyeliner.

I use Mary Kay eye primer and eye liner - not only does it keep your eye shadow on all day without any touch ups, but if you just put a little bit along your lower lashes where you put your eye liner it keeps it from smudging.
I'm using a Rimmel right now and I always try to find inexpensive eyeliner pencils. Applying eyeshadow or a little translucent powder after applying the liner will usuually keep smudging down to a minimum.
waterproof. and revlon. it has a variety of shades and goes on easy.


however, do onot use liquid eyeliner. it can bleed into your eyes.
before you put on your eyeliner apply foundation


or a powder under your eyes. then put the eyeliner


over it. or you could try a waterproof eyeliner

I use Define-a-Line and never once has it smudged. Only around the edge of eye. But that, you can hardly tell.


I think its the best.
It's kind of expensive, but e.l.f has a waterproof eyeliner. It stays on but it's kind of hard to get off.
I put on eyeliner then get eyemake up remover and go over the parts that don't look good. It' works and doesn't smudge!
