How to prevent eye liner from smudging?

My eye liner always smudges when I apply it to my lower lid, how do I keep it from not doing so, also do you have any technique so it won't smudge and look better?

Make sure you are using waterproof eye liner. Usually when you use eye liner that isnt waterproof, the moisture and tears from your eyes will cause your eye liner to run.
Here your answer (yes I use this tip)....sharpen your eye pencil, take a match or a lighter and very quickly heat the tip of the pencil (no more than 2 seconds), *** always let it cool completely *** then apply.





This sets the eyeliner and you won't have to re-apply as much.
use liquid eyeliner from Cover Girl :)





Or if you dont want the liquid kind use the stick kind from Cover Girl, it stays on pretty long.
well if you dont feel like buying anything new use a black eyeshadow on TOP of the liner this will help set the liner and make it last longer. not to mention the shadow sticks to the liner and trust its not moviv.
