How do you put eye liner on?

i cant put eye liner on worth a crap and i need some tips on how do to it so please help.How do you put eye liner on?
use an eyeliner crayon instead of a pencil or liquid..wet a cue tip( not soaking just a little wet) and lightly run it across the liner to even it out..if you want it to be smokey..put on the eyeliner ( crayon) and put on dark eye shadow above and over it with a little brush not an eyeshadow spongeHow do you put eye liner on?

Eye liner is very hard to put on..It's actually an art. you have to practice a lot before you can master it.





I wear liquid eye liner, but I have mastered it. You have to have a steady hand and when you put it on do it fast and don't stop...
very carfully :)





Go to the local department store where they sell cosmetics. They always have someone to show you how to apply makeup.
carefully and without messing everything up.. lol
Taking classes in makeup can be very worthwhile.
Start out using a pencil. It seems many ladies have a very hard time applying liquid liner.





Make sure it is fairly sharp so it goes on thin. If you need to, pull the edge of your eye to define the line. This can become a bad habit, it will form wrinkles late in life I hear!





Find some girls who apply it the way you like, and ask them what they do. It would be easier to be shown than to try to explain how to do it.





Most important, practice a lot and don't give up!
look in the mirror when you put eye liner, if your hand starts to shake put your finger in your eye to reasure yourself that you wont poke it...sometimes it happends because of fear( example : when you keep blinking). Put eye liner were is light so you can see everything, and if you mess up, use a Q-tip to clean up. i always find it easier to use a pencil liner than the liquid eye liner.
THICK AND SLOPPY, GIVE THEM SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT
Put eyeliner on 2/3 of the top lid, and 1/3 of the lower.


Use a color opposite your eye color to make your eyes stand out.

Well, let's see. The last time I used eye liner was back in....
Practise :) make sure its not blunt and just give it a try. u'll be a bit shaky at first so start with crayon (revlon one is really good) and just practise practise practise and u'll figure it out :)
